Frequent frozen pipes inspired this master bath renovation. As in many old New England homes, the master bath was an add on, in this case above an old porch, done in the days before builders understood the importance of proper insulation and air sealing. The project included stripping the walls, ceiling & floor down to the framing so the owners will have the comfort of knowing they will never have to deal with a drafty bathroom again. The new space is as beautiful on the surface as it is underneath.
